The inspection of the cable trench cover plate of the State Grid of China is generally carried out according to the following methods.

1. Appearance: No significant forging defects, clear pattern, and clear handwriting.
2. Flatness inspection: Use a special mold to check the flatness of the cover plate. Create a mold with a diameter of 37mm and a depth of 37mm for the cover plate. Place the cover plate in the mold without shaking or noise, and the cover plate should not be higher than the mold with a gap of 3mm. The sampling method is selected for load-bearing load, and the pressure test is conducted on a press machine. The cover plate bears a pressure of 360KN or 210KN and is recognized as a qualified batch.
3. Well circle inspection: Use a special tool to check the diameter of the well circle. The diameter of the well circle is slightly larger than the diameter of the cover plate, and the depth is the same as the height of the cover plate. The bolt holes should be inspected one by one using a special inspection tool. 4. Acid resistance test: Slowly flow hydrochloric acid through the cable trench cover plate, using an amount of about 3 times the volume of the cover plate. Rinse with water, and the pH of the outlet water is about 5. Use a NaCl solution that is 3 times the volume of the cover plate to flow through. Flow NaOH through the cover plate and rinse with water until the effluent pH is around 9. After the acid flow is completed, rinse with deionized water until the pH value of the effluent is above 6, and it can be put into use.
